Chapter 1: General Provisions

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms and Conditions are intended to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of "Tanz" (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") and "Members" regarding the use of paid services within the AI language learning service (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") provided by the Company.

Article 2 (Application of Terms)

These Terms apply to Members who separately agree to these Terms when using paid services within the Service.

Article 3 (Definitions)

① The definitions of terms used in these Terms are as follows:

  1. "Member" refers to a person who has entered into a service agreement with the Company in accordance with these Terms and uses paid services provided by the Company or sellers.
  2. "Paid Service" refers to various services, online digital content, and all related services provided for a fee by the Company or "Seller."
  3. "Recurring Subscription Service" refers to Paid Services where payment is made through "Recurring Payment" and the usage period is automatically renewed.
  4. "Recurring Payment" refers to a payment method where transactions are automatically processed on a specific date or under specific conditions using a pre-registered payment method for repeated transactions.
  5. "Cash-type Currency" refers to payment methods that Members can use to pay for Paid Services (e.g., "Crystals," etc.).
  6. "Seller" refers to a party that has entered into a separate contract with the Company and sells various online digital content to Members using the Company's Paid Services.
  7. "Free Trial Period" refers to a complimentary service usage period granted by the Company at its discretion for certain Recurring Subscription Services.
  8. "Refund Credit" refers to virtual data representing an amount credited to a Member when a purchase is canceled but cannot be refunded through the original payment method due to the expiration of the cancellation period.

② Terms not defined in this Article shall be interpreted according to relevant laws and general practice.
